Policies for Our Boutique Hotel in Providence

Same-day Reservation Policy: Same-day reservations are made by calling our office at 401-351-6111 from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM EST seven days a week.

ALL ROOM RATES are based on double occupancy and reflect the room types offered.

Additional Person Fee: There is an additional fee of $25.00 plus tax per person over the age of 12 (only if space is available).

Minimum Stay Policy: A 2-night minimum stay (Friday/ Saturday or Saturday/ Sunday) is required for weekends from May through October (Except Special Events).

Deposit Policy: A major credit card (Visa, American Express, MasterCard, or Discover) may be used for the required 50% deposit of ALL reservations at the time of booking including:  Special Events, Weddings, Holidays, Graduation Events, and Group Reservations.  All reservation balances will be due upon arrival.

Cancellation Policies:

  1. Guest Rooms: Cancellations (Except Special Events) received 7 days prior to arrival will be honored with a full refund. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to arrival will be honored with a full refund provided the guest room(s) can be rebooked in full, at no loss to Christopher Dodge House. In the case of “No-Shows”, 100% of the deposit or prepayment will be forfeited.
  2. Special Events: (Weddings, Holidays, Graduation Events, Group Reservations) require a 30-day notice but will be honored with a full refund provided all event guest rooms booked can be resold in full, at no loss to Christopher Dodge House. In the case of “No-Shows”, 100% of the deposit or prepayment will be forfeited.
  3. PLEASE NOTE: For reservations booked through an online agency, please contact the agency directly for modifications and cancellations.

Pets: Unfortunately due to potential pet interactions and guest allergies, we cannot allow pets at the inn..

Smoking: To protect the health and safety of our Guests and Staff SMOKING is NOT permitted within the inn. However, we do provide two outdoor patio seating and smoking areas.

Arrival Time:  Check-in is available after 3:00 PM by ringing the doorbell located at the street level front door. We will be happy to store luggage in the office for guests arriving prior to 3:00 PM. We request that guests attempt to arrive at the inn prior to the office closing time of 9:30 PM, but if this is unavoidable, we will need to make important “late arrival” arrangements for you. Please contact us if a late arrival is unavoidable. 

Departure Time: Check-out is 11:00 AM. We will be happy to store luggage in the office.

Parking: We offer free on-site parking, two garage bays, and an overflow lot one block away.  A parking pass must be obtained in the office at the time of check-in to utilize available parking.
